Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring optimal equipment and facility performance.
  • Partner with client representatives to establish clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that define expectations for maintenance activities, response times, and service delivery.
  • Provide direct leadership and oversight to maintenance teams, ensuring timely and efficient completion of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams to establish prioritized maintenance schedules that maximize equipment uptime and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and generate reports to assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve efficiency and achieve budgetary targets.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehousing to ensure timely resupply of consumables and fast-moving inventory items required for routine maintenance activities.
  • Establish and manage a 24/7 maintenance response and repair organization, including defining escalation procedures and response protocols.
  • Identify and coordinate training needs for maintenance personnel, ensuring all staff possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality management systems.
  • Develop and manage protocols for planning, executing, and overseeing equipment upgrades and facility refurbishments.
  • Oversee the execution of the division's 24-hour on-call rotation, ensuring response times meet established company expectations.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and address any maintenance-related concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Facility Management or equivalent
  • 15+ years of combined experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • minimum of 10 years in project management or maintenance and repair leadership within a large organization.
