• Suitable Candidates: Onshore 462/485 visa holder with more than 15 months visa length.
• Salary: minimum $66,000 & plus 11.5% super contribution by employer.

Requirement:

Work Experience Requirements:

• 1 year work experience for Visa 482;
• 2 years work experience for Visa 494.

English requirement:

• PTE 36 overall, with a minimum score at least 30 in each of the four test components;
• Or IELTS overall test score of at least 5.0, with a score of at least 4.5 in each of the four test components.

Summary:

Seafood Process Workers scale, clean, fillet, cut, shell, grade and package fish and shellfish.

Tasks:

• Sorts, inspects and grades seafood products for size and quality;
• Prepares seafood by skinning, trimming, washing, gilling, gutting, filleting, shucking, descaling, cooking, smoking, preserving and/or canning fish, shellfish and molluscs;
• Operates machines which slice, peel, skin and crumb seafood
• Counts and packs prepared seafood for freezing;
• Packs frozen seafood blocks into cartons after freezing, in order to prepare stock for dispatch;
• Loads seafood products into trucks;
• Cleans and sanitises equipment and work areas.
