Evening Lead Cook (Weekdays)
Dogpatch Games is seeking an experienced Evening Lead Cook to take primary responsibility for our weekday dinner service. This role runs the kitchen independently during evening hours and plays a key part in maintaining strong food standards as we continue expanding evening food service at Dogpatch Games in partnership with longtime neighborhood institution Marcella's Lasagneria.
This is a great fit for a confident, organized cook who is comfortable owning service, maintaining cleanliness and systems, and setting up the kitchen for success the next day. This role has the potential to grow into leading the evening restaurant team for strong, successful employees.

Hours: 3:30pm–9:30pm

Cooking & service: 5:00pm–9:00pm

Pre-service prep and setup before 5:00pm

Pay: $21.50/hour + tips
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute evening cooking and service from 5:00pm–9:00pm

Assist with prep for the following day prior to service

Maintain high food quality, consistency, and presentation standards

Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully reset for the morning shift

Properly store, label, and rotate food to ensure freshness and minimize waste

Work independently during evening service while communicating clearly with the broader team
Requirements

3+ years of professional cooking experience

Valid food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent required)

Strong understanding of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and closing procedures

Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment

Bilingual: English and Spanish

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking ownership of a shift

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
