We are looking for a data engineer with excellent communication skills, solid knowledge of open-source technologies like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and Kubernetes, and experience working with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS).
As a data engineer, you will collaborate with team members of varying experience levels on challenging projects for diverse clients. These projects involve solving complex problems such as building data pipelines, designing cloud architectures, productionizing machine learning models, and creating custom software solutions. You will work within a team environment that emphasizes best practices and automation in all aspects of data engineering.
Please note that this position requires candidates who are legally authorized to work in the Netherlands.
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience as a data engineer, machine learning engineer, or a similar role.
- A masters degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with technologies like Spark, Cassandra, Airflow, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Strong software engineering skills in Python, Scala, or Java, along with experience in software testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to help clients achieve their goals.
- An enthusiasm for building tools that are reliable, accurate, and transparent.
- A commitment to continuous learning, personal growth, and knowledge sharing.
- Dutch language proficiency is preferred.
