Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and oversee logistics tenders and bidding processes within the contract logistics environment.
  • Analyze tender documentation to identify client needs and requirements, with a focus on supply chain solutions in the automotive logistics sector.
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions for production and logistics processes, with a specific focus on automotive industry logistics.
  • Prepare internal and external calculations for RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis for internal and external supply chain projects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Business Development, Operations, and Controlling, to align on resource and cost requirements.
  • Create and deliver professional client presentations for logistics proposals.
  • Act as a liaison between the operations team and project launch teams, ensuring cost-effective and efficient processes.
  • Utilize tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Emulate3D to design 2D and 3D logistics layouts.
  • Draft custom proposals, considering logistics cost structures, capacity planning, and market competitiveness.
  • Maintain and update templates for logistics proposals, presentations, and project references.
  • Manage internal quality gates and oversee project responsibilities in logistics management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in industrial engineering, logistics management, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in tender management, project management, and supply chain planning, ideally in contract logistics and automotive logistics.
  • Strong expertise in preparing logistics proposals, managing RFQ processes, and creating accurate calculations.
  • Proficiency in German and good communication skills in English.
  • Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with strong proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with layout planning tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Emulate3D (preferred).
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe occasionally.
