Job Description

  • This is a flexible role available as a casual/contractor or part-time with the opportunity for a full-time role.
  • Provide Speech therapy services through NDIS and Aged Care, in clinic, off site or in the clients homes.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will:

  • Provide high quality assessments and treatment and improve patient outcomes by implementing the best evidence-based practice.
  • Development of individual, evidence-based treatment plans and goals to address any deficits identified in these areas ensuring best practice and person-centred care planning for clients and participants.
  • Be able to work independently and efficiently.
  • Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day-to-day work.
  • Be confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions.
  • Responsible for liaising with patients, families, doctors and other allied health professionals.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Full AHPRA registration and professional liability/public indemnity insurance
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full COVID Vaccination
  • Be able to understand new systems and processes in an efficient manner.
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
  • Experience working with NDIS or aged care residents (Preferable but not essential)

Salary: $92,959.78 $128,656.51 per year

  • Sydney Western Suburbs NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Private practice: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • AHPRA registration (Required)
  • Driver Licence (Preferred)

  • Australia (Required)
