Duties
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team focused on outside and inside sales within the West Coast territory
- Develop comprehensive business development plans to identify new market opportunities and generate lead pipelines through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs to deliver tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct product demos and technical presentations to showcase solutions value propositions effectively
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and analyze territory performance for continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance brand awareness and support sales initiatives
- Oversee account management activities, upselling opportunities, and customer service excellence across the territory
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong management skills with experience leading or coaching a sales team in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales strategies
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for pipeline management and analysis
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to conduct compelling product demos
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans for business growth
- Knowledge of retail sales environments or technical product markets is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results.
