Head of Data Science for Fintech Startup.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand a dynamic team of data scientists and ML engineers.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge algorithms for algorithmic trading 
• Drive the entire lifecycle of AI/ML solutions, from concept to deployment, with a focus on achieving tangible business outcomes.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members, fostering continuous learning and expertise enhancement in ML.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in ML model development, validation, and maintenance, collaborating closely with software engineers and stakeholders.
• Advocate for innovative software development practices, ensuring robust, scalable, and production-ready solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MSc or higher) in a quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in DS, ML engineering, or related roles, with a strong track record in deploying ML models in commercial settings.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building and management.
• Expertise in time series forecasting, deep learning, and optimization techniques, with proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks.
