Production Superintendent

A high performing underground mining operation is seeking a capable and experienced Production Superintendent to lead crews on site and drive production performance while upholding the highest standards in safety and operational discipline.

This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone who understands the pace and pressure of underground mining and knows how to bring the best out of teams.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage underground production teams to hit safety, productivity and cost targets
• Oversee all production activities including drilling, blasting, loading and haulage
• Drive compliance to safety systems and operational procedures
• Collaborate with Engineering, Geology and Maintenance to align plans and execution
• Mentor and develop frontline leaders and operators
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Track and report against production KPIs
• Represent the operation with internal and external stakeholders

What we are looking for:

• A degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Proven underground mining experience with at least three to five years in a leadership role
• Strong technical understanding of underground methods and equipment
• Confident team leader who thrives under pressure
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in remote FIFO or international locations is highly regarded
