Mine Planning Superintendent

A leading precious metals producer is looking for a confident and capable Superintendent - Mine Planning to take ownership of integrated mine planning across both open pit and underground operations in this expat FIFO opportunity in Asia. (The immediate focus will be on Open Pit)

This is not just a technical role. It is for someone who understands the connection between strategy and execution. Someone who knows the value of listening to shift bosses and supervisors who live and breathe the tools every day.

What you will do:

• Lead and guide a mine planning team across multiple horizons
• Align mine design with operational, financial and geological inputs
• Solve problems quickly and collaborate across departments
• Drive production performance through smart planning decisions
• Contribute to ongoing growth and improvement across the site
• Focus on Short Term Planning

What we are looking for:

• At least ten years of experience in mine planning
• Solid background in both open pit and underground mining
• Hands on with Deswik or similar tools
• Experience working closely with those at the face
• Proven leadership in a Superintendent or Senior Engineer role
• Prior FIFO or expat experience is an advantage
