Position: Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Job Summary:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for driving forklifts, rigging equipment, and building skids using a nail gun. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that materials are delivered to the correct location in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts to transport materials to and from production areas

- Use rigging equipment to move materials and products as needed

- Build skids and secure materials using a nail gun

- Load and unload trucks with materials and products

- Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

- Assist with other tasks as needed to support production and warehouse operations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Material Handler or similar role

- Valid forklift certification

- Experience with rigging equipment and nail guns

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Basic computer skills

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
