Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home care. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform respiratory assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders

Administer and monitor various respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and mechanical ventilation

Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:

Valid Respiratory Therapist RRT license in the state of employment (UT)

Licensed RCP or ability to obtain

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

BLS and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire

PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-stress environment
