Position: PLC Technician
Sign-on bonus- $1500
Direct Recruit Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLC Technician to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to set-up and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment.
solvent-based2. Responsible for preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program or as
required to ensure a smooth operation.
3. Assists Engineering with the installation, debugging, and start-up of all production equipment.
4. Maintains equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance
problems. Documents all process changes.
5. (Sharps Department Only) Responsible for mixing silicone/solvent based formulation which is used for the lubrication
of needles. Uses viscometer to ensure solids percentage remains within acceptable parameters.
6. Supports Engineering in maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parameters.
7. Provide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements (QSR) are
maintained.
8. Provides Production Supervisors with relevant information on equipment and process performance, including
production and waste information.
9. Provide leadership to other associates in fixing production equipment.
10. Coordinates and supports other maintenance activities as required Install and program PLC systems according to client specifications
-Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
- Minimum 4 years experience working with automation controls software
- Associates degree in Mechatronics preferred
- Experience in med the Associate device industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, etc.)
- Experience with various PLC brands (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in industrial settings
