Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of People Services to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our people operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. The Director of People Services will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our employees are engaged and motivated to achieve our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and meet the staffing needs of the company

Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all employees

Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge

Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans

Oversee employee relations and ensure a positive and inclusive work environment

Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all people-related matters

Collaborate with department managers to identify and address any people-related issues or concerns

Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees to understand their needs and concerns, and provide support and guidance as needed

Monitor and analyze people-related data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Lead and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality people services

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

STRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional )SPHR) is preferred and  Masters degree Preferred.

6+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Must possess considerable knowledge of co-worker relations( the principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resource Management

Graduate from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business or Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or closely related related field.

Must possess strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to Human Resources

Proven experience developing and implementing people strategies in a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions

Experience managing and developing a team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels

High level of integrity and professionalism

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus
