A fast-growing AI startup is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build an agentic operating system for marketing. As the fourth founding engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping product architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction while shipping production features across the full stack.

This is a highly hands-on role for engineers who enjoy building, shipping, and solving complex problems with modern AI-assisted development workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and ship features across the full stack using TypeScript, Next.js, and React
• Develop AI-powered workflows using Claude, OpenAI, and modern AI frameworks
• Integrate and extend technologies such as LangChain and Mastra
• Own DevOps responsibilities including CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker, and deployment workflows
• Improve and scale production systems and application architecture
• Work with AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining engineering quality
• Contribute to technical standards, architecture decisions, and development best practices
• Troubleshoot, improve, and optimize existing systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript, Next.js, and React expertise
• Experience building and shipping production software
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain or Mastra
• Experience integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI and Claude
• Strong Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, and CI/CD knowledge
• Understanding of system design and scalable architecture
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED:

• Convex, Clerk, or Supabase experience
• Early-stage startup experience
• AI, LLM, or agent framework experience
• RAG systems or streaming architecture experience
• Observability and SRE mindset
• Marketing technology experience

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $84,000-$120,000 USD annual salary
