A leading industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead electrical and mechanical engineering operations supporting advanced automation systems, vacuum furnace technologies, and high-performance industrial equipment used across aerospace, energy, additive manufacturing, and precision manufacturing industries.

This onsite leadership opportunity offers $131,000-$150,000 plus strong benefits and limited relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments
• Drive engineering strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee industrial equipment design, automation systems, and technical development
• Partner with sales and project management teams on customer solutions and new product development
• Manage engineering resources, timelines, budgets, and project execution
• Support product engineering activities including equipment design, process flow, FEA, and CFD
• Oversee controls integration and troubleshooting involving PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and instrumentation
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and technical processes
• Mentor engineering staff and support technical leadership across departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in industrial machinery or capital equipment manufacturing
• Prior leadership or engineering management experience
• Strong industrial automation and controls background
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation
• CAD software and Microsoft Office experience
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities

Preferred:

• Heat treatment or vacuum furnace industry experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience
• Wonderware or HC900 experience
• Mechanical engineering background
