Overview:

We're seeking a Customer Activation Manager to own the onboarding journey from signed contract through successful go-live. This role is responsible for ensuring customers launch successfully, achieve key onboarding milestones, and are positioned for long-term success.

You'll work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive implementations, resolve onboarding challenges, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end customer onboarding from contract signature through successful graduation.

Manage multiple concurrent customer implementations and onboarding projects.

Drive successful payroll activation, data migration, tax registration, and account setup activities.

Develop onboarding plans, timelines, and customer communication strategies.

Partner with Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, and Support teams to resolve implementation issues.

Ensure successful customer adoption, training, and onboarding completion.

Improve onboarding processes, documentation, and implementation playbooks.

Monitor onboarding KPIs including activation rates, implementation timelines, and customer readiness.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Implementations, Project Management, or Customer Onboarding within a B2B SaaS environment.

Proven ownership of onboarding, activation, or implementation metrics.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Experience managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously.

Experience with payroll, HR technology, fintech, or related software platforms.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.

Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Gusto, Justworks, or similar systems.

Experience in high-growth startup environments.

Fintech or payroll technology experience.

Experience building or improving onboarding processes and playbooks.

Strong analytical and KPI-driven mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $101,000-$162,000

Employment Type: Full-Time
