A growing medical device manufacturer is seeking a Quality Control Roving Inspector to support in-process and final inspections across multiple machining cells within a precision manufacturing environment.

This onsite opportunity offers $20-$26/hr and is ideal for experienced quality professionals with strong blueprint reading skills, GD&T knowledge, and experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections across multiple machining cells
• Support machinists and production personnel with quality-related questions
• Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and precision measuring tools
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances
• Support corrective action and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of quality inspection experience
• Experience working in a precision machining environment
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience performing in-process and final inspections
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and other inspection tools
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• CNC machining background
• Swiss machining experience
• Experience generating NCRs and supporting corrective actions
• Quality certifications such as CQT, CQI, or Six Sigma
• Experience mentoring inspectors or production personnel
