A leading enterprise technology organization is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to support the modernization of mission-critical voice services and cloud-native infrastructure.

This hybrid contract opportunity offers $65/hr and is ideal for experienced Kubernetes, DevOps, and Site Reliability professionals with strong cloud infrastructure and automation expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy Kubernetes-based platforms for highly available applications
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Containerize applications and support cloud-native modernization efforts
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions
• Support cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, and OpenShift
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and platform issues
• Support migration initiatives from traditional VM environments to Kubernetes
• Create operational documentation and knowledge transfer materials
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and architecture teams

Requirements:

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps experience
• Expert-level Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting experience
• Strong CI/CD pipeline development experience
• Terraform and Ansible expertise
• Experience supporting cloud platforms
• Monitoring and observability platform experience
• Python or scripting experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting production environments

Preferred:

• OpenShift experience
• Telecom or voice services experience
• SIP, SBC, IMS, or voice middleware knowledge
• Cloud-native migration experience
• GitOps methodologies
• Datadog, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana experience
• AI/ML platform exposure
