Location: City of Industry, California (On-site, second shift)

Compensation: $72,800 to $83,200 per year base ($35 to $40 per hour). With scheduled overtime, total annual earnings typically land between $120,050 and $137,200.

A manufacturer of function-critical components and subassemblies for commercial aerospace, defense, and industrial markets is adding radiographic inspectors to its second-shift X-ray team. Three openings.

What You'll Own

- Set up and operate equipment to perform film radiographic NDT inspections per approved work instructions

- Interpret and evaluate results for acceptance or rejection, working from engineering drawings, models, specifications, and technique sheets

- Inspect parts for material defects and irregularities, identifying non-conformance by location, size, orientation, and pattern against established criteria

- Make offsets and adjustments as needed, and perform checks and calibrations of test process media to maintain test integrity

- Complete all inspection documentation per customer and company procedures, specifications, and contract letters

- Flag recurring inspection issues and recommend method or equipment changes; support development work on new, revised, or unique parts

What You'll Bring

- 4+ years of experience with castings

- Level II certification in Radiography with documented proof of hours

- High school diploma or GED

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and written specifications

- Comfort working from verbal and written instructions to plan and sequence inspection operations

- Availability for a second-shift schedule with regular overtime

Nice to Have

- Aerospace or defense casting inspection background

- Experience developing or documenting inspection techniques and procedures

Schedule: Weekdays 3:30pm to 12:00am with overtime to 2:00am, plus Saturdays 12:00pm to 8:30pm.
