Warehouse Associate – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity | Monday–Friday Schedule

Compensation: $18–$19/hr

Role Overview

A manufacturing facility is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a temporary assignment with strong potential for permanent placement. This position supports warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment in an industrial environment.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Expected Start Date: May 25, 2026
Expected Assignment End: September 7, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Unload and receive incoming products and materials

Verify shipments for damage and discrepancies

Sort, organize, label, and store materials appropriately

Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders

Load customer deliveries safely and securely

Inventory & Documentation

Maintain inventory records within computerized systems

Assist with inventory cycle counts

Complete documentation accurately

Equipment Operation

Operate warehouse equipment including:

• Forklifts
• Cherry picker lifts
• Pallet jacks

Safety & Team Support

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

Follow all safety regulations and PPE requirements

Support additional warehouse responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of warehouse or storeroom experience preferred

Experience with:

• Loading/unloading
• Picking and packing
• Inventory handling
• Material movement

Basic computer skills required

Strong attention to detail

Strong safety mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Sit-down forklift experience

Cherry picker experience

Customer service experience

Work Environment

Steel manufacturing facility environment

May involve:

• Heat
• Noise
• Industrial working conditions
