A stable and growing manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Mechanic 2 to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and manufacturing equipment during weekend night operations.

This onsite opportunity offers $30.97/hr-$34.53/hr plus a $3.25/hr shift differential for weekend nights.

Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
4:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain manufacturing machinery and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
• Perform welding and equipment repairs as needed
• Conduct machine safety testing and preventative maintenance
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and operation manuals
• Collect machine performance data and support downtime reduction efforts
• Create and manage work orders within a CMMS system
• Support production equipment setup and operational readiness

Requirements:

• 4+ years of mechanical maintenance or machinery repair experience
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and equipment diagrams
• CMMS and work order management experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial manufacturing environments

Preferred:

• Associate degree
• Manufacturing maintenance background
• Production machinery experience
