Job Description

The System Engineer role provides professional Managed services including design and deployment, technical support and management of our customers infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintain Virtualized servers, Backup, Storage, Linux, Microsoft

Web, Database and other application servers

Maintain hardware and software patch levels

Monitor and manage systems used in support of data center operations

Technical support and manage clients system infrastructure and maintain process documentation

WORKING HOURS: In shifts (6-8 hours/ shift) & 4 shifts / week

During the week & weekend: One night shifts: 7 hours from midnight and two day shift: 7am to 2pm & 2 pm to 9 pm

Your Skills and Experience

Background

High level of English communication

Strong background with core network and compute technologies in large scale deployments and multi-client solutions

Ability to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site and multi-disciplinary problems and incidents

Hard skills

Must have

Knowledge of:

Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)

Microsoft server products (Windows 2008 to 2019)

Linux Server Products

Application Services (Web, Database, Mail, )

Network & Security basic

Nice to have

CCNA, MCSA, VCP, LPIC 1&2, etc. certifications

ITIL knowledge/accreditation specializing around operational Incident/Problem and change management
