We are looking for a Senior Interaction Designer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of our products. As a Senior Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for the entire design process, from understanding user needs to crafting exceptional user interfaces (UIs) and prototypes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, product requirements, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct user research (including surveys, user interviews, and usability testing) to inform design decisions.
- Develop user personas, user journeys, and sitemaps to define the user experience (UX) flow.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize design concepts and user interactions.
- Ensure UI elements are consistent with our design language and branding guidelines.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the design process.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest UX design trends and best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in interaction design or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping successful digital products.
- Strong understanding of UX design principles and methodologies (e.g., user-centered design,design thinking).
- Excellent UI design skills with a keen eye for detail and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus points:
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, ProtoPie).
- Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing).
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
