SQL Developer duties and responsibilities

· Development of high-quality database solutions.

· Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

· Research required data.

· Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

· Suggest new queries.

· Monitor code migration and database change management through various stages of the development cycle.

· Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

· Develop, implement, maintain policies and procedures, and document database architecture to ensure security and integrity of the databases.

· Review new database schema changes.

SQL Developer requirements and qualifications

· 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role

· Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming

· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject

· Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server & PostgresSQL database

· Knowledge of git Source Control. and Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or deployment automation tools.

· Ability to work with development and operations teams to tune production queries for optimal performance.
