DIHO Consulting USA LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician for a growing welding/fabrication operation in the Greater Houston area.
This is a senior-level, hands-on position for a technician who can work independently and take ownership of equipment troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance. Strong electrical experience is essential, as approximately 85–90% of the role is electrical.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- 10+ years of maintenance experience preferred
- Welding/fabrication shop experience strongly preferred
- Strong 480V three-phase electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Electrical installation, including conduit, wiring and terminations
- PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics; programming experience is a plus
- VFD/variable-drive troubleshooting
- Overhead crane troubleshooting and repair, including electrical controls, pendants, wiring and components
- Air compressor maintenance, diagnostics and repair
- Welding-machine troubleshooting and repair
- Electrical/control board troubleshooting
- Preventive maintenance on fabrication equipment
- Basic pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
- Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA and electrical safety practices
- Basic computer skills for work orders and PM documentation
The ideal candidate is a seasoned maintenance professional who is comfortable being the primary maintenance resource onsite and can troubleshoot equipment without requiring extensive training or supervision.
Compensation: $30–$35/hour depending on experience. Candidates with highly specialized experience may still be considered above the target range.
