For one of our projects with a leading IT service provider in Germany, we are looking for a Workplace Services Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring stable and efficient workplace operations, focusing on the resolution of incidents and service requests in a multi-technology landscape and providing direct support to end users. You will work in a professional, SLA‑driven environment, supporting users in a remote setup while delivering high service quality and customer satisfaction.

This is your job:

  • Provide Workplace Services Support for end users in a remote setup
  • Resolve incidents and service requests in compliance with SLAs
  • Communicate directly with end users in a clear, professional, and customer-focused manner
  • Troubleshoot and support:
    • Windows 10 / Windows 11 environments
    • End-user devices (laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets)
    • Printing solutions and peripheral devices
  • Work independently or collaboratively within the support team
  • Escalate complex issues when required and coordinate with other IT teams
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to ITSM processes and standards

Your qualifications:

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT Workplace / End-User Support role

Technical Skills

  • Very good knowledge of Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • Experience with printing solutions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Basic to good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Laptops and desktops
    • Smartphones and tablets
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Familiarity with Windows 365

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Knowledge of common hardware manufacturers and operating systems
  • Exposure to iOS and macOS
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. PowerShell)
  • Experience with Microsoft Server environments
  • Understanding of Azure and on‑premises components

Certifications (Desired)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Languages

  • German – Upper Intermediate (B2) – mandatory
  • English
