(Lead) Business Analyst – Microsoft AI & Agentic Platforms (m/f/d)

You will shape and drive our clients' AI transformation on the Microsoft platform by analysing end‑to‑end processes, identifying high‑impact AI use cases and co‑creating an AI target picture, roadmap and governance together with business and IT stakeholders. In close collaboration with our architects and engineers, you translate business requirements into Microsoft‑based AI solution architectures, lead workshops and change‑management activities, and ensure strong user adoption and measurable business value. With your consulting experience, agile mindset and strong communication skills, you manage key stakeholder relationships and help build sustainable AI capabilities such as an AI Center of Competence at our clients.
This is your job:
- Co-create AI target picture together with business and IT stakeholders
- Conduct end‑to‑end current‑state assessments across IT, data, organization and processes (incl. AI readiness and operating model) and perform IT, data and process gap analyses to derive concrete transformation needs and options for AI operating models
- Analysis and design of processes and identification of AI use cases with impact and ROI for our clients
- Advise Business and Product Owners and Stakeholder of the client
- Design high‑level AI & data governance concepts (roles, guidelines, processes, KPIs) for the Microsoft AI landscape (Azure, Copilot, Dynamics 365, Power Platform) together with our technical M365 Governance experts
- Documentation of the processes and the proposal for the functional solution architecture
- Collaborate closely with AI Solution Architects and Engineers to translate business requirements into Microsoft‑based solution architectures
- Taking care of the right user adoption concepts incl. Change Management and Training
- Support the build‑up of an AI Center of Competence / community of practice at the client
- Facilitation and documentation of requirements workshops
- Presales: Pitching our Microsoft AI offerings to our clients together with the Sales Manager
- Moderate Envisioning Workshops to ensure future value add of the platform for the client and development of an AI roadmap with the client
- Project Management / Business Analysis
Your qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents and agent governance in the context of the Microsoft portfolio (Azure AI / Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365, Power Platform).
- Knowledge of different LLMs and their strengths/limitations is an advantage.
- Experience in requirements engineering (certification such as CPRE is an advantage) and in product backlog management with Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Practical experience in consulting or enterprise projects involving AI, data or cloud transformation; experience in one of our focus industries financial services, insurance, manufacturing, logistics or professional services is a plus.
- Strong understanding of agile project methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or similar) and experience working in interdisciplinary teams (business, IT architecture, data/AI, governance).
- Proven ability to analyse end‑to‑end processes, perform gap analyses and design future‑state processes and operating models for AI solutions.
- Excellent moderation and workshop‑facilitation skills, including for C‑level and cross‑functional stakeholders; ability to manage and align diverse business process owners.
- Very strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical and AI‑related topics in a clear, simple and business‑oriented way in both German and English.
- Proven track record in managing successful client relationships as project manager, program manager or account manager
