Application Support Engineer with experience in configuring and maintaining application environments using containerized technologies. Skilled in supporting and troubleshooting microservice-based architectures to ensure system stability, performance, and availability. Proven ability to diagnose complex production issues, collaborate with development and infrastructure teams, and implement effective resolutions. Experienced in supporting large-scale, mission-critical projects with significant impact on both organizational operations and national-level initiatives.
This is your job:
- Monitor system health and act proactively in case of an issue
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Track complex computer system issues through to resolution
- Apply configuration changes, security patches and improvements.
- Trigger builds and deployments when needed
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
- Ensure all issues are properly logged.
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports upon request.
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
- Ability to work on-site
Your qualifications:
- Very good knowledge in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of computer systems and communication protocols.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiar with Grafana and Prometheus. Ability to create dashboards and alert configuration
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, mainly in written and occasionally in verbal.
- Working level understanding of Git
- Hands-on experience with Linux environments is a benefit
- 3+ years experience in the IT field
- Work experience as a L2/L3 Technical Support Engineer, or similar role is a benefit
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
