James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation has been retained to source a Document Automation Specialist, for a leading Legal Firm, the role will suit a Paralegal that would like to move into a Legal Technology focused role.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, maintaining and updating automated products and solutions using Contract Express, HighQ (or similar tools)
  • Testing automated documents, correcting errors and recording changes
  • Train users around the business on how to automate documents
  • Provide training to lawyers on how to mark-up a document for automation
  • Advise on best practice for document automation
  • Identify opportunities where automation can assist our clients
  • Running regular reports on the use of the service and creating management information

Experience

Educated to degree level and ideally experience of working in a legal environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Word skills; good Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellence organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, working to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
  • The ability to build trust and rapport to develop effective business relationships, often with senior stakeholders in the business.

Desirable: technical proficiency in using Contract Express
