Senior .NET core Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated .NET Core Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs using Microsoft .NET technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core
• Own microservices design decisions and participate in system architecture discussions
• Build and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs; integrate with third-party services
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis)
• Implement unit, integration, and performance tests; maintain code quality standards
• Conduct thorough code reviews; mentor mid-level engineers when needed
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams across US and European time zones
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and infrastructure improvements

What We're Looking For

Must-have:

• 5+ years of commercial .NET development, with 3+ years on .NET Core/.NET 5+
• Solid command of C# (async/await, LINQ, generics, memory management)
  
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, dependency injection patterns
  
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  
• Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP (deployment, managed services, observability)
  
• Containerization: Docker; Kubernetes is a strong plus
  
• CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
  
• SOLID principles, clean architecture, DDD in practice — not just in theory
  
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development: using LLM-powered tools (Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as part of daily engineering workflow
  
• Upper-Intermediate+ English: you can lead a technical discussion, not just reply to tickets
  
• Contributions to open-source or technical writing

Strong Plus

• Hands-on experience building AI agentic systems: tool-calling, multi-step reasoning pipelines, or autonomous agent workflows integrated into .NET backend services
• AI/LLM API integration (.NET + OpenAI, Azure AI, Semantic Kernel)
• Blazor for full-stack scenarios
• Background in fintech, SaaS or enterprise platforms
• SignalR / real-time system patterns
• Experience with message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus
