About the job SEO Executive
Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a market leader in their sector. Reporting to the SEO Manager, the role of the SEO Executive will be to support with the delivery of the SEO strategy and Organic Search traffic and booking targets. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day optimisation of our websites, predominately focusing on content but with a keen eye on technical and off-site threats and opportunities.
To be successful in the role, you will have a creative flair; be able to work on a variety of projects while maintaining high standards of work, demonstrate solid organisation & communication skills, along with a strong appetite for analytics and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
General
- Support in executing the SEO strategy to increase visibility, drive traffic, revenue, and new customer acquisition
- Day-to-day optimisation of existing website content to improve non-brand organic visibility in the SERPs
- Reporting on key KPIs to monitor and develop our ongoing optimisation
- Performing market and competitor research to inform and support our SEO strategy
Content
- Creating, refining, and delivering our inspirational content calendar
- Defining and creating content across the website and blog, considering cohorts, user intent, page purpose and trending terms
- Optimising new product and resort pages, as they’re added to the site
- Delivering best practice implementation for all content, ensuring it meets brand guidelines and avoids cannibalising existing high-performing content
- Monitoring SEO tools to ensure optimum performance, and reporting on content performance
- Coordinating with brand & channel teams to ensure an integrated approach to SEM
- Identifying opportunities for outreach to drive inbound & outbound link building with authoritative sites
Technical
- Support with important metrics analysis including crawling, indexation and duplication using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Pi Datametrics & Google Search Console
- Support on crucial technical projects alongside the SEO Manager & development team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical SEO tactics
- Work with our development & brand teams to implement redirects and increase internal linking
Key skills we need:

- 18 months+ experience working in a similar role
- An undergraduate degree (min 2.1) in a related field (Marketing, Business, Media) preferable, or A/B grade in English & Maths at A-Level (or equivalent)
- Up to date knowledge of the search marketing industry
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Experience utilising Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO technology such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Pi Datametrics
- A motivated self-starter and action-taker
- Excellent prioritisation and project management skills
- The ability to multi-task and work on several areas at a time
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Data-driven with a high attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills creating and maintaining strong working relationships with other team members and third parties
