Recruiting for a Receptionist for Maternity 12 month contract.

The role of Receptionist plays an integral part in the running of the office and the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and good customer service experience. You will be responsible for greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner, together with operating the switchboard and directing phone calls as required.

MAIN DUTIES
  • To provide first class customer service to all visitors and callers
  • Keep the reception area, waiting room, meeting rooms and entrance hall tidy and clean at all times
  • Answering and transferring all calls
  • Overseeing the on-line booking of meeting rooms
  • Tactfully ensuring that staff who are not engaged with visitors do not remain in the reception area
  • Accurately recording all visitors to the office on arrival and departure, including provision and return of security passes where applicable
  • Operating the switchboard professionally and efficiently Train and support other members of the reception team Other tasks as may be reasonably required.
  • Travel between office locations as and when required to meet the needs of the business.

EXPERIENCE
  • Experience within a legal (ideally) or another professional environment
  • Experience to match the requirements of the particular position
  • Accustomed to dealing with clients, partners, fee earners and other support staff at all levels in person and on the telephone as appropriate to the level of the post
  • Accustomed to delivering work to deadlines
  • Accustomed to working without close supervision
  • Able to demonstrate confidentiality and integrity
  • Accustomed to dealing with suppliers advantageous but not essential

  • Methodical, accurate and well organised systems of working
  • Flexible, energetic, organised and accustomed to meeting tight deadlines
  • Team player
  • IT competence
  • The highest level of client care and awareness
  • Be prepared to undertake a very wide variety of work
  • Experience of working in a small team
