Summary of the role
The Product Marketing Manager plays an active role in the positioning and go-to-market execution for products and solutions, helping to translate product capabilities into features, benefits, and value propositions for customers and communicating these to marketing communications and sales teams. You will work closely with other internal stakeholders to help define product strategy,
craft product messaging, support product releases, conduct market research, and generate competitive intelligence.
Main job responsibilities and accountabilities
- Work closely with the product management team to make sure we deliver high impact products and launches that meet the demands of the market.
- Launch new products and/or features to the Western/EMEA region and manage the project to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed.
- Develop and maintain Product Business Plans, with input from Product Managers to include product positioning, market summary, pricing, features and benefits, competitive landscape, target buyers, etc
- Provide strategic market insight by tracking industry technology trends, understanding competitive feature-sets, and collecting/analysing customer/prospect insights that would impact product development.
- Market intelligence be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
- Understand the competitive landscape be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
- Pricing strategy for products you Lead on.
- Create sales enablement tools (e.g., internal training collateral; public-facing product presentations, datasheets, etc.) focusing on West or EMEA regional marketplace.
- Review materials or campaign ideas created by local marketing teams as needed to ensure accurate product positioning is included and concepts are in line with corporate or product strategy.
Person specification
- Relevant degree in Marketing or Product Marketing required.
- Proven successful marketing / product marketing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a high-level strategy while executing the small details.
- Tech savvy; curiosity to all things new in technology especially within the cybersecurity domain.
- Excellent communication, critical/analytic thinking, relationship building (internal and external
- stakeholders), and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits.
