Seeking a German speaking Regional Sales Manager, this is a great opportunity to join this market leader! The position reports directly to the Head of Sales and is available for immediate start for the successful candidate.

The Package

The package will be negotiable dependent on the background and experience of the candidate, however, this will consist of the following.

The Role

Due to a change in career direction the current Sales Manager, our client are looking to strengthen their team with the recruitment of a Regional Sales Manager for the German education market. The current customer base is through distributors. In recent years our client have experienced considerable growth in the German education sector and now need an experienced professional to take the business forward.

The role will be to maintain and grow sales within the existing customer base and established new routes to market whilst opening up new product opportunities to the existing customers. Also to identify and gain new business within the target markets, broadening the appeal and subsequent sales of the full product portfolio to a much wider audience.

The Candidate

Essential requirements

o German speaking with English as a second language.

o Experience within the German and wider European education market.

o An accomplished sales person who is a self-starter, engaging, confident, highly motivated and hungry to succeed.

o Possessing a positive outlook and able to communicate and negotiate at all levels.

o A proven track record in researching their relevant market and able to create new lead generation.

o Capable of managing their own time and booking own appointments with effective journey planning.

o Understands the entire sales process from research to after sales.

o Open minded and always looking at new opportunities and routes to market.

o Able to work within tight deadlines and to target including KPIs both financial and none financial.

o Good working knowledge of basic IT systems such as MS office and CRM packages (ideally Salesforce.com).

Desirable requirements

o Contacts within the German education sector

o Promoting products in collaboration with distributors to effectively market new and existing products in the German education market.
