The Tax Assistant Manager/Manager will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing financial data necessary for sales and use tax and corporate income tax filings for two legal entities. While third-party tax consultants will handle the actual filings and reporting, this role will play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate submission of data to those consultants.
The Assistant Tax Manager will also assist with audit cases, providing necessary data and support to external tax experts. As a member of the finance team, this position may also involve ad-hoc responsibilities that extend beyond the primary role and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Tax Data Preparation & Support
- Support the finance team by preparing and reviewing financial data for third-party tax consultants.
- Responsibilities include organizing and validating sales, use, and corporate income tax data across jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Help reconcile tax accounts
Collaboration with Third-Party Tax Consultants
- Work closely with third-party tax consultants to supply data and documentation required for tax filings.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all necessary information to external tax professionals, facilitating the tax filing process.
- Address any data-related questions or requests from external consultants and ensure that all required data is provided in the correct format.
Audit Support
- Assist with any tax audits by gathering requested documentation and providing data to third-party tax specialists.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate responses to audit-related inquiries and support the audit process as needed.
Other Responsibilities
- As a member of the finance team, assist with various ad-hoc projects and tasks outside of the standard role and responsibilities.
- Be flexible and ready to contribute to the broader needs of the finance team as required by management.
- Perform other tax-related tasks as assigned by the finance team or management.


Key Experience and Skills

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience working with third-party tax consultants or advisory firms is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP systems and tax compliance tools.
- Korean is plus
