Role & Responsibility

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a proactive and communicative professional to coordinate fire
protection piping construction activities with clients, general contractors, and on-site
labor teams. The role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of fire protection systems. The employee must have Construction Management experience in the area of Mechanical, Fire protection Piping. Must have industrial or commercial construction knowledge in the Semiconductor, Industrial, Chemical, Oil and Gas or Manufacturing markets. The employee must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, be able to communicate clearly and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout career.
- Work as a key stake holder of the Project Management team to plan, organize, and supervise projects from inception through construction, commissioning and close-out.
- Responsible for reviewing specification & shop drawing.
- Responsible for coordinating engineering issues with engineering company (Compliance of specifications and owner requirements)
- Coordinate day-to-day construction activities and resolve site-level issues related to fire piping installation.
- Ensure projects scope, schedule and forecasts are developed, executed and tracked to meet project goals.
- Responsible for Construction monitoring and reporting to include progress measurement.
- Assist in documentation, progress reporting, and scheduling coordination.
- Communicate project status to Project Management, Client, internal and external customers as appropriate or required.


Qualification

Preferred Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work- related experience
- Experience in Fire Protection Piping Construction (3+)
- Familiar with industry code and standard (NFPA, local fire codes)
- Able to read and interpret P&ID
- Experience in Progress Management
- Proficient Experience in BIM, MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), AutoCAD, Navisworks
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Bilingual (English, Korean) preferred

-Being able to manage multiple mechanical contractors and coordinate mechanical
works with other construction trades.
