Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance & Administration Manager to
oversee all aspects of financial operations, HR administration, insurance, and compliance for our U.S. entity. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP (or IFRS), and the ability to manage cross-functional responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment. The position will also serve as a key liaison with our headquarters in Korea and external partners including auditors, tax advisors, and banks.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance, Accounting & Tax
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable/receivable,
cash flow, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
(or IFRS, as applicable).
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process and monitor performance against the
approved budget.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (federal, state, and local), including 1042, 1099,
and tax provisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and year-end closings.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies to ensure accuracy,
compliance, and efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions and
strategic planning.
- Monitor key financial KPIs and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to
management and headquarters.
- Maintain accounting systems and related software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Fixed Assets),
including vendor contracts and system settings.
2. Human Resources & Payroll
- Administer payroll processes across all entities, including wage garnishments, tax
withholdings, and employee benefits.
- Manage 401(k) plans including funding, compliance testing, and reporting.
- Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding, background checks, and compensation
contracts.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and implement necessary policy
updates.
- Provide HR support for employee relations, government inquiries (e.g., child support,
liens), and internal guidance.
3. Insurance & Administrative Support
- Manage and renew employee benefits plans (health, dental, vision, disability, etc.) and
corporate insurance policies (liability, property, workers' comp, etc.).
- Liaise with insurance brokers and lead requests for proposals (RFPs) during renewal
periods.
- Coordinate benefit allocation by entity and manage changes related to life events,
terminations, and enrollments.
4. Treasury & Compliance
- Monitor cash positions and manage banking relationships including online banking setup
and letters of credit.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and corporate reporting requirements.
- Complete regulatory filings and economic surveys as required by federal and state
agencies.
- Serve as the key point of contact for communication with Korean HQ on finance, tax, and
internal reporting matters.


Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial and administrative management roles.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, payroll processing, and HR practices.
- Proficiency with accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ADP).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a global or Korean corporate environment is a plus.
- Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.


Compensation:
- Estimated base salary: $120,000 $140,000 (Negotiable)
