About the job Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Manager
What you will do:
[Demand plan & Stock management]
- Forecast ordering quantity from U.S. local partners based on the predicted demand.
> Collaborate on demand planning with U.S. MD
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure that store in-stock levels and local partners' needs are surpassed
- Forecast demand volume, oversee the import of products from the Korea logistics center, and ensure smooth logistics operations
> Collaborate on demand planning with U.S. MD and Global SCM Team (Korea H/Q)
- Monitor and manage slow-moving inventory, implementing strategies to reduce excess stock.
- Lead initiatives to optimize and manage the flow of inventory within the supply chain network.
> Delivery frequency, case size, Returns if necessary, waste etc.
[Logistics management]
- Manage the overall 3PL logistics operations
> Manage inbound and outbound logistics at the warehouse, ensuring efficient flow of goods
> Control and analyze logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Report logistics costs, inventory days, shortage every month
- Negotiate logistics rates and contracts with 3PL.
> Collaborate with Global SCM team in Korea to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of supply chain activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6~8 years of relevant work experience in the areas of Demand Forecasting, Ordering, Inventory control and Logistics
Management.
- Bachelors degree in business or supply chain-related fields.
- Effective communication in Korean with Korea HQ is essential, and the ability to communicate in Korean is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to partner to deliver business results.
>Experience collaborating with Sales, Operations, and third-party logistics stakeholders
- Experience in the e-Commerce and/or Retail industry is preferred.
- Dual Language capability in English and Korean is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data effectively; strong Excel skills required, other technical skills -preferred.
- A passion for growth and taking on increasing responsibilities and challenges.
The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Los Angeles is $65K to $100K. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be subject to several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of the candidates experience within the job; type and length of experience within the specific industry; educational background; and
the location of employment. This salary range may not reflect the pay scale for employees who work in other states.
