Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide technicians and safe launch personnel through effective training, coaching, and process validation.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness and accuracy of quality-related activities.
  • Ensure the correct isolation, identification, and verification of any suspect or non-conforming material.
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections to confirm compliance with all quality standards and specifications.
  • Exercise sound judgment in subjective quality-related decisions.
  • Support hands-on technician duties when needed.
  • Serve as an active participant in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, acting as the Voice of the Customer.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers (QEs) in root cause investigations and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding and training documentation related to Quality Alerts.
  • Act as a liaison to ensure effective communication of leadership messages to all site personnel.
  • Partner with Human Resources to address and resolve employee performance and attendance issues.
  • Uphold and promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment by implementing and maintaining 6S standards.
  • serve as the Quality Department representative on safety boards.
  • Manage and update daily system entries and quality reports through company portals.
  • Create, update, and manage electronic work instructions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and independently initiate tasks within scope.
  • Deep understanding of workplace safety programs and practices.
  • Proficient with gauges and various measuring instruments.
  • Excellent communication skillsverbal, written, and presentation.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including support across multiple shifts.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
