About the job IT Specialist
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for providing daily support for IT-related issues and requests, managing IT Helpdesk, troubleshooting and maintenance of POS systems at stores, managing IT-related assets, and assisting IT Manager. Configure hardware and software, set up computers, printers and provide daily support for computer network users, ensuring that users are
able to interact with this hardware and software successfully.
Principal Accountabilities
IT Helpdesk
Provide IT support to end users.
Respond to IT requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
Monitor and ensure proper functioning of IT systems/applications.
System Administrator
Set up and test the SAP-ECP system; understand and apply SAP methodologies.
Responsible for logging all new and existing IT assets into master asset list.
Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, FTP.
Strong troubleshooting skills for end users.
Log all assets as accurate and up to date as possible so data can be provided to HQ when requested.
Other Activities:
Developing and maintaining working relationships with internal key stakeholders including upper management, department heads and others.
Working directly with end users/Serving as a liaison between clients and our company.
Report and assist complex planning and implementation of systems that is carried out by the IT Team.
Collaborate with HQ offices for major projects and develop reports requested by Headquarter offices.
Train New Hires on how to use internal company systems.
Support IT Manager with requests and activities.
Key Experience and Skills
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology preferred
At least 2 years of experience in a IT role
2+ years- experience managing projects and people.
Must work in office at least twice per week.
Experience in POS is a plus.
Experience in SAP, EDI and Network is an advantage, preferred.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
Strong IT operational background
Bilingual (Korean-English) is required
