Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Establishing and implementing a comprehensive safety management system (SMS) that covers warehouse, logistics, and office operations.
Developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to safety, fire prevention, chemical handling, and heavy equipment operation.
Conducting risk assessments and safety audits regularly; ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented and tracked to closure.
Managing incident investigation processes identifying root causes, creating preventive measures, and reporting to management and regulatory agencies.
Providing OSHA-compliant training programs for employees, contractors, and site visitors; maintaining accurate training records.
Collaborating with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and 3PL partners to integrate safety standards into daily operations and continuous improvement projects.
Leading emergency response planning including fire drills, evacuation plans, spill response, and first-aid readiness.
Monitoring environmental impact and compliance (air, water, and waste management).
Acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and corporate safety auditors.
Reporting safety KPIs and improvement plans to leadership; maintaining dashboards for tracking leading and lagging indicators.
Must be able to travel to other HUB or warehouse sites for inspections and training (up to 3040%).
Qualification
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
Minimum 35 years of experience in industrial or warehouse safety management.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining safety systems across multi-site operations.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and relevant federal/state regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Experience conducting safety training, audits, and accident investigations.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30-Hour, or equivalent certification preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/EHS modules, or digital audit platforms.
Bilingual communication (English/Korean) preferred for multinational coordination.
