Job Description for Business Planning (Senior) Manager
The Business Planning Manager role is to identify and address critical business issues,
and to develop / implement corporate policies by analyzing enterprise-wide financial and
management information. This position specifically requires an individual capable of
assisting the CFO in identifying business issues, analyzing financial data, and preparing
reports for communication with leaders and management.


Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports based on business performance and forecast analysis data
- Assess and report on weekly/monthly operations related to CFO office
- Proactively organize storylines and prepare reports for other emerging issues
- Support the development of company policies and guidelines
- Develop and create standardized templates for various report types, and be responsible for training team members on the reporting skills
- Lead annual and quarterly business planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Develop models to evaluate financial and operational performance across departments and business units.
- Partner with senior leadership to define key business objectives, KPIs, and performance improvement opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and internal data to inform strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for
executive stakeholders.
- Identify risks and opportunities that could impact business performance and recommend actions.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning and reporting processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment on strategy execution.


Required Skills/Knowledge:

- Bachelors degree in business analysis, business management, finance or related field is preferred
- 8+ years experience in Business Planning/Consulting or a related field is required
- Proficient bilingual skills in Korean and English
- Basic knowledge of management accounting and financial accounting is required
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to make report materials for business leaders and Executives.
- Proficient knowledge on MS Office Suites (PowerPoint, Excel) is required
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to multitask is essential
- Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
