We have a number of exciting opportunities for Health Care Assistants to work full time with a leading Healthcare Organisation in Ireland
You will be joining a team of highly trained Healthcare Personnel delivering quality and caring services into facilities / private homes.
Our client is a leading national provider of Community Care Services in Ireland, and a HSE approved provider. They have over 200 Health and Social Care Assistants providing care nationally.
They provide individualised and person-centred Residential and Respite Disability Care Services for Adults and Children, including those with ASD. The goal of their disabilities team is to maximise the independence of their clients while supporting their physical, emotional and social needs.

Working hours:
Full-time hours are 39 hours per week and the hours will vary. All posts are rostered over a 14 day/night duty roster. There will be a requirement for Staff to work days, waking night duty, weekends, split duty hours, bank holidays, and sleepovers to meet service needs.
Key Responsibilities:

· Engage Positively: Interact with individuals in a positive manner; actively participating in the planning and implementation of personalised programs to meet their unique needs and goals.
· Support Development: Aid residents in developing essential life skills, including self-help, household chores, cooking, community engagement, leisure activities, and social interaction, fostering greater independence.
· Medication Management: Administer, oversee, and accurately document the dispensation of prescribed medications, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and individual care plans.
· Empowerment: Empower individuals to recognise their own value, enhancing their feelings of self-worth and promoting a positive self-image through supportive interactions and encouragement.
· Personal Care: Provide appropriate assistance to individuals requiring personal care, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
· Housekeeping and Participation: Perform necessary housekeeping tasks and encourage service users to participate in maintaining a clean and organised environment, promoting independence and life skills.

Role requirements:
· Nursing Qualification or Relevant Qualification in Social Care or Healthcare
· Previous experience in caring for vulnerable adolescents / intellectual disabilities.

Successful candidates will be offered the following package:
· Permanent Full Time Contract of Employment
· Minimum Day Rate 14.50 per Hour
· Minimum Night Rate (Waking Shift) 15.00 per Hour
