This role is responsible for optimizing revenue growth within the Strategic Partner Team by expanding the Financial Institution network and driving revenue and growth objectives. The Financial Institution Business Development Manager will recruit, enable, develop, maintain, and expand relationships with financial institutions nationwide. Working closely with senior leadership, this position will focus on partner recruitment, enablement, sales, and support.
What You Will Do:
- Prospect, identify, and recruit new financial institutions; open new accounts and expand existing relationships.
- Collaborate on the creation of marketing and business development plans for key verticals.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key personnel at partner accounts.
- Drive awareness, opportunity development, and product adoption by adding value to financial institutions nationwide.
- Work with senior management to coordinate internal resources, including support, service, and management teams, to meet partner performance goals.
- Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives for new and existing partners.
- Lead joint partner planning processes to establish performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to enhance brand presence and generate new business opportunities.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience selling merchant acquiring programs into financial institution sales
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and opportunistic thinking skills.
- Skilled negotiator with mediation experience.
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of long-term business impacts.
- Comfortable adapting to organizational changes typical of a small- to mid-sized company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.
- Willingness to travel based on portfolio needs and business requirements.
