Senior Solutions Engineer

Our client provides a payments infrastructure and monetization platform that helps software companies embed payment processing and generate revenue from payments. The Senior Solutions Engineer will lead customer implementations from technical discovery through production launch. This role combines payments expertise with hands-on ownership of APIs, integrations, and end-to-end implementation delivery. The position is focused on post-sales implementation rather than traditional pre-sales solutions engineering or software development.

What You Will Do:

• Own customer implementations from technical discovery through integration, testing, and go-live.
• Guide customers through integrations using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and end-to-end payment workflows.
• Troubleshoot API and integration issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support merchant onboarding and payment processor or gateway integrations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success to deliver successful implementations.

What You Bring:

• Five or more years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Implementation, Integration Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong experience in payments or embedded payments.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and API troubleshooting.
• Proven ownership of customer implementations from technical discovery through go-live.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success.
• Experience with merchant onboarding, payment processors, or payment gateways is preferred.
• Knowledge of payment flows, including authorization, settlement, tokenization, and PCI, is preferred.
• Experience improving implementation processes or building integration frameworks is preferred.
