The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support for PCs, networks, and related infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for our employees. Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users for PC hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PC hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and security patching.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Document technical procedures and solutions.
  • Assist with IT projects and initiatives.
  • Adhere to IT security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Experience with network troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with IT security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
