Director of Engineering Suite

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Growing the newly formed department to 20 team members
• Own the suite department's tech strategy and roadmap. Ensure that the suite’s goals are overall aligned with company goals by collaborating with senior management throughout the organization.
• Be a mentor and coach to an excellent team of technical leaders and support them in their personal development. Actively recruit new leaders and team members.
• Ensure that our products are built in time and with a consistent user experience. You regularly assess and monitor the state of teams and processes and advocate for best practices

What you need:

• Proven track record managing managers of agile teams, setting goals and ensuring their successful delivery
• You have a software engineering background and have the ability to analyze and reason about complex systems as well as understand the requirements for effective software delivery
• You can utilize different leadership styles and your situational awareness to guide teams forward even in complex situations
• You have effective communication skills that can guide and inspire your teams
• It’s a plus if you have first hand experience working with localization solutions and understand the domain we’re operating
