About the job DevOps Engineer

This job is not the one that can promise you that you are going to change the world, but can certainly promise you can become the one bringing a bit of order to it.

You'll help us to continue building Germany´s first regulated trading venue for digital assets.

Bitcoin has disrupted the conventional banking and Stock exchange business and generated billions in value in the shortest possible time. The underlying blockchain technology is revolutionizing the handling of assets along the value chain of the financial world.

Your job will be to accompany other professionals setting high standards in transparency and security and offer a reliable framework for trading.

Does it sound like matching your goals and endeavors?

You will:

  • Collaborate closely with technical stakeholders to ensure a smooth, reliable and secure running of the platform;
  • Bring in your ideas and thoughts on technical problems to find best in class solutions and further develop the “devops-culture”;
  • Support various product/engineering teams and setup for deployments, interacting closely with frontend and backend engineers on topics of security, scalability and infrastructure;
  • Monitor, evaluate and decide on new technologies to be added to tech stack;
  • Help to build a highly performing team with startup mindset that manages the tradeoff between risk and progressive ideas.

You bring:
  1. Extensive experience with cloud environments, deployment processes, containers and container systems (Kubernetes);
  2. Proven experience form companies operating in highly regulated industries/contexts such as the financial industry or similar;
  3. Passion about people and new work philosophies – ideally experience in building location-independent teams;
  4. Willingness to do some travel activity to Berlin and Stuttgart (we give our best to establish a great remote collaboration culture that avoids too many trips and minimizes our carbon footprint for the whole company).

You get:
  • Participation and ownership in building the missing piece of infrastructure in Europe to trade digital assets;
  • Access to resources and knowledge exchange / collaboration with other digitization projects within a group of companies;
  • Become a shaper of our company culture;
  • Much more of tangible perks.
