You will lead the new HQ team as it is born to pave its way to conquer the global market.
Your responsibilities:
- Hire and build the local China team to support reaching our aspirational goals;
- Lead the China local team and collaborate closely with BBG´s headquarter cross-functional teams to make the acquired brands successful;
- Collaborate with BBG's headquarter leadership to identify projects and opportunities progressively and systematically;
- Close coordination with BBG's Headquarter cross-functional teams is very important as together you will be identifying processes that should be adopted from Europe and those, that need to be localized or build-up entirely from scratch;
- Own the commercial success of a selection of our brands on the Amazon platform focused on optimizations of listings in Amazon Seller Central;
- Take full responsibility for driving key marketplace metrics and push them to the next level;
- Build scalable processes by making use of data, automation, and AI;
- Make sure that every department tracks the right set of KPIs and puts actions behind;
- Keep a holistic view of the business: this requires a solid understanding of and focus on the entire value chain of the business, from forecasting and purchasing, supply chain and distribution networks, customer satisfaction, sales, and marketing to after-sales service and return.
Your profile:
- 6+ years of experience in leadership positions including Head, Director, or VP in e-commerce companies in China;
- 4+ years of experience in Amazon focused businesses;
- Deep understanding of the China e-commerce & retail market;
- Highly driven, exceptional strategic thinking and entrepreneurial execution abilities;
- Superior analytical and problem-solving capacity with experience in successfully navigating within a matrix of different environments;
- Relationship builder with winning communication and excellent presentation skills;
- Tolerance for ambiguity and entrepreneurial can-do mentality;
- Ability to steer and manage projects with multiple workstreams over a wide variety of functional business problems, ideally with proven successes in the past;
- Significant experience in leading cross-functional teams;
- Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work.
